The Army Integration Special Committee has decided to ask the government to create 4171 news posts in the Nepal Army for the integration of the Maoist army combatants.

A meeting of the AISC took the decision Wednesday evening. Of the recommended new posts, 1460 will be allocated for the Maoist combatants who recently passed the exams for integration including 71 for officer posts.

The AISC's term was extended by one month on Tuesday.
