Police detained Anna Casino's proprietor Tapta Bista for letting Nepali nationals to gamble in the casino on Friday.

According to Metropolitan Police Range SSP Ranabahadur Chanda, Bista has been detained for letting Nepali nationals to gamble in the casino illegally for time an again despite warnings. He will be convicted of Gamble Act 2020, Chanda said.

Earlier this week, many Nepalese were arrested from various casinos in the Capital for gambling.

Anna Casino is situated in the premises of Hotel Annapurna at Durbar Marg.
