KATHMANDU, AUG 11 - UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the leadership of election government can not be given to the Nepali Congress at any cost.
He said NC’s leadership will be acceptable only if it agrees to revive five-point deal inked earlier among the major parties.
Dahal said so while addressing an interaction organised by the party in Lalitpur on Saturday.
He said any political parties can claim for the leadership of the election government.
Speaking on the occasion, CPN-UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal urged the Maoist to resolve political deadlock by forging consensus with other parties.
He said a new concrete base should be sought to end present transitional phase.
Khanal opined that the parties should unite to institutanalise political outcomes rather than hanging for the greed for party.
Also during the interaction, Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel suggested the Maoist to create an environment to pave way for holding election.
