U-19 Cricket world cup: Nepal gets target of 186 runs
KATHMANDU, AUG 15 - Nepal has got a target of 186 runs against Ireland in its second group stage match of the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup on Wednesday.
Wining the toss and choosing to bat first, Ireland’s inning was build mainly around Shane Getkate 47 off 81 balls and Andy McBrine’s 41 off 79 balls. Tyrone Kane (39) also added some valuable runs to finish the Irish inning on 185 runs for the loss of eight wickets. Nepali bowlers Avinash Karn, Prithu Baskota, Rahul Biswakarma and Bhuwan Karki grabbed two wickets each.
Nepal has to win this match to stay in the competition. Nepal had lost by 212 runs in its first match against defending Champions Australia on Monday.
