Baidya to visit China in first foreign trip after party split
On his first foreign trip after the split in the UCPN (Maoist), Mohan Baidya, chairman of the newly formed CPN-Maoist, is leaving for China on Sunday.
Baidya is visiting China at the invitation of the deputy head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Ai Ping, who visited Nepal last month.
During the visit, Baidya will discuss about the relation of the communist parties of both of the countries and the situation after the split of the Maoist party in Nepal, said party spokesperson Pampha Bhusal.
Foreign department chief of the party Indra Mohan Sigdel will accompany Baidya during his visit.
